As part of the natural aging process we develop aches and pains. Some are mild and some can alter our quality of life. We go to doctors and that does help. But often medicine does not solve the whole problem. By learning and developing our own healing methods Tai Chi allows us to bridge the gap . One of those not so secret methods is the Long Form aka 103.
Recently a student was not happy as he did not get a new move for the long form. As we have specific topics to cover weekly it is not always possible to give everyone a new move. The long form has 103 moves, depending on how you count. The student wants another move, and when ready he will soon get it. But he is already walking, moving, balancing and progressing nicely. So a new move is always nice to get. What Tai Chi really gives you is the ability to move freely and plug in to your own energy source and that is much more precious.
