Tai Chi and Qigong both are excellent ways to practice being mindful. Would Tai Chi help you to get a bigger refund? Doubtful. However practicing Tai Chi daily would help with keeping taxes, and everything else, in proper perspective. Because taxes are only what your mind makes them out to be.
