I
really believe that I was born wearing glasses with a book in one hand and
a piece of chalk in the other. Teaching has been my passion for as long as
I can remember. I have loved my 36 years in public education and it was
with tremendous trepidation that I retired in June 2007. However, there is
life after retirement! I work for Weight Watchers, supervise students in
the Graduate School of Education at Rutgers with student teaching, and
work in my chiropractor's office.
I
began my Tai Chi journey in October 1996 with my first "demo"
lesson, and was immediately hooked. I continue to take classes as often as
I can and plan to continue learning, refining, and sharing Tai Chi for the
rest of my life. At present, I am teaching Tai Chi at The Stein Assisted
Living Residence, in Somerset New Jersey. The residents are enthusiastic
doing Tai Chi. They have experienced physical improvement in their
range of motions, and in their ability to concentrate. I am beyond
thrilled about being able to bring this "Elixir of Life" to my
new found friends.
My
family is most important to me. They are my life. Tai Chi is my lifeline!
